Tutoring Services FAQ
How much do you charge?
I charge $65 per hour for online individual sessions and $70 per hour for in person individual sessions. Special discounts are available with the purchase of a package when discount packages are offered.
I charge $35 per half hour session online; I offer 30 minute sessions when appropriate for certain learning goals/needs, especially conversational or self-guided learning support. Unsure if this could be a good option for you? Reach out to me on my contact form.

What is your teaching style?
I teach grammar foundations as well as incorporating conversational practice.
I strive to know each of my students personally to uncover their goals, needs, and interests in learning. This allows for more effective sessions, more progress, and more joy!
What type of lessons do you offer?
I offer tutoring services for individuals, small groups, or large groups (conversational practice only sessions also an option).
I am also open to leading special lessons and event workshops for specific learning purposes, i.e. holiday workshops with vocabulary and cultural information/activities, or intensive workshops for medical, education, legal, or business specific communications and vocabulary.
How often should I have lessons?
I recommend one hour-long session weekly. Depending on your goals, we can increase or decrease frequency.
Do you offer group lessons at a lower cost?
Yes! Online rates: $115/hour for 2 people, and $135/hour for 3 people.
For in person rates and sessions, please send a contact form inquiry.
I can also coordinate practice pairs or groups virtually amongst my students of similar levels with a discounted hourly rate if conversational practice with other people is desired.
Do you have a specific age range you work with?
I have worked with children and adults of varying ages and I enjoy my unique teaching experiences with individuals of any age!
Do you offer both in-person and online sessions?
I offer online sessions to anyone and in-person sessions only in the Hamilton County area of Indiana.
I can do online sessions via Google Meet or FaceTime.
